CultureLink is seeking a worker to provide settlement assistance to the diverse newcomer families and youth in attendance schools in Cluster 5. The SWIS Program Worker is part of CultureLink’s SWIS Program and reports to the Cluster 5 Program Manager, SWIS. The successful candidate will be placed in reception centres and provide support to Newcomer Orientation Week activities and regular service schools to assist newcomer families and youth with their settlement needs and integration process.

35 hours/week

CultureLink is seeking a full-time Youth Worker to facilitate the activities of the “Youth in Action” program. The program’s objectives are to establish community connections through planned weekly group activities, promote cross-cultural integration, establish positive peer relations through peer-mentorship, enhance leadership capacity and improve language skills.
