Annual Trip to Maple Syrup Fest – March 23, 2019

There is nothing better than the start of spring, since this means it’s maple syrup time! Come see the sap run and try your hand at tapping trees, and tasting sweet maple syrup, all while discovering the history of the liquid gold.

Maple Syrup demonstrations and self-guided hiking. Festival activities may include scavenger hunt, carriage rides, bird of the prey, etc. Additional activities may cost money NOT covered in the cost.

For: Newcomers to Canada (immigrants or convention refugees— copy of documentation is required).

At Kortright Centre Woodbridge

Departure: 10:30 am | Arrival: 4:00 pm
Location: 2340 Dundas Street West parking

Cost: $15 per adult (16 to 59 years) and $10 per child (5 to 15 years) — Payable by March 15, includes admission fee and pancake lunch (2 pancakes and 1 drink).

Spots are limited. Due to the nature of the trip, it is encouraged that participants are able to speak and understand English (preferably LINC level 4 and up).

Registration is on first come first basis — the amount is not refundable if participants won’t show up on the day of the event.
