Sankofa CultureLink Youth is a peer-supported positive space for newcomer LGBTQ+ youths, newcomer girls and refugee youths (aged 15-29) seeking discrimination-free and culturally inclusive services.
Programs include:
- Settlement services,
- Community Engagement,
- Environmental Stewardship and Gardening,
- Leadership and volunteer opportunities,
- Nutrition, health and wellness,
- Self-defense
- and lots more.
Drop-in sessions on Fridays 3 – 5:30 p.m. at CultureLink
Snacks and TTC tickets available.
Eligibility: Newcomer youths who self-identify as a member of LGBTQ+ communities and newcomer girls, regardless of immigration status, as well as refugee youths aged 15-29
