Until you have experienced camping in the country’s national parks and campgrounds, you cannot truly call yourself a Canadian. We know that you will be so excited about this first time camping experience that you will want to share it with your friends and family.
Together we will explore what to pack, what to cook, how to plan, what to look out for, first aid, nature and wildlife. Next year and for many years to come, you will be able to do it on your own. If you are interested, make your family available on the following dates and register before the deadline to save your spot.
Dates: August 4 – 5, 2018
Venue: Albion Hills Conservation Area
Fees: $10.00 per person refundable on August 5, 2018 upon participation
Registration ends on February 28, 2018
To get the most from your experience, you will need to attend monthly meetings at CultureLink every 3rd Thursday March through July between 6:00 – 9:00 pm, when you will learn all you need to know about camping.
