Studying in a different country can be both exciting and challenging. If you have applied to a college or university, or you are just thinking about studying in Ontario, the International Student Connect Program (ISC) is the program for you. The ISC Program includes both online and in-person support for international students in Ontario. ISC offers settlement support to international students and their families with the goal of helping them integrate successfully should they choose to settle in Ontario. This is done by providing resources to help International Students integrate into post-secondary student life in the province and includes: group workshops, one-on-one sessions, handbooks, fact sheets, transition plans and webinars. There were 45,000 international post-secondary students in Ontario in 2012 and the ISC Program responds to the range of needs of these students while working closely with the participating post-secondary institutions. Led by COSTI, CultureLink Settlement and Community Services is partnering to deliver the ISC Program at both Humber North and Humber Lakeshore Campuses.
