Youth Settlement Services
Our Youth Settlement programs are designed to help newcomer children and youth feel at home in Canada. We know how important it is for young people to find their place in a new community and build the connections they need to thrive.
We offer many events and activities:
Our Children and Youth Settlement Services give young people the opportunity to meet peers and develop new skills and knowledge in a relaxed setting. Participants can improve conversational English, learn about Toronto, and prepare for further education or employment. Youth programs are open to participants ages 6-12. Youth in Action events are focused on sports, recreation, or community services, while Youth in Arts events focus on expression and connection through the arts. Our Artegration events are for children ages 6-12.
Our Wintegration After-School Program is a free program for registered participants ages 6-12 in the Mabelle neighbourhood. It takes place Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 3:30-6:30pm, during the school year. We aim to improve children’s physical and emotional wellbeing through indoor and outdoor recreational activities, alongside health education and support with homework.
