Volunteering at CultureLink
There are so many benefits to volunteering—you meet new people, learn new skills and get to do something truly great for your community.
Volunteering also gives you confidence and valuable work experience that can lead to other employment.
Our volunteers are the life and soul behind so much of what we do at CultureLink. We are forever grateful for their dedication and energy—we love having them play a part in fulfilling our mission.
If you’re interested in volunteering with us, we’d love to hear from you. Simply take a look at the opportunities below and send in your application form.
Ways to Volunteer
- Join our Board! CultureLink Settlement & Community Services (‘CultureLink’) is seeking a volunteer Board member who shares CultureLink’s vision, is commited to the direction of our work, and is reflective of our diverse community. The successful candidate will be passionate about serving the settlement non-profit sector, identify with the vision & values of CultureLink, and have high ethical standards. Experience with board governance, leadership, corporate partnerships or sponsorships, or employment law is preferred, but not mandatory. Open or download this Board Governance Opportunity.
- Become a Mentor! Culturelink’s Community Connections Mentorship Program provides a variety of mentoring opportunities to support newcomers while developing your leadership skills and enriching your life. Learn more about Becoming a Mentor.
All volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as per CultureLink’s Mandatory Vaccination Policy, whether the volunteer responsibilities are carried out in-person or virtually.
